Great hostel, great services, really in center of Ramblas and Old City.

I like it a lot especially recipsions!

The breakfast could be a little more diversificated, at least more then 3 sandwitch items. In rest, everything was ok.

Nice and clean hostel. We got the exact same room that we booked online. Excellent location, you can pretty much get anywhere on foot. We definitely recommend it.

Clean and tidy. - Very nice staff - situated in the middle of the Ramblas area. - everything ok. - Absolutely recommmendable.

Spacious room with safe. Proximity to Placa Catalonya save us from travelling on subway. Decent breakfast included in our stay.

Great place to stay! Very conveniently located off La Rambla. Easy to get to even for 1st. time visitor to Barcelona. Staff, though not very cheery people, are helpful enough to our needs and questions posed. Certainly recommend it to every type of traveller

In general a good spot to stay in Barcelona, I've stayed in a 4-bed dorm, perfect location, and never had to wait to use toilets. Very good breakfast which is served in a café next to the hostel. I think in Barcelona it's a good place to stay.

It was a nice stay, the hostel is very well located. There were some unexpected things, but nothing to worry about it. The staff is very kind, the breakfast is ok, the beds are ok; the service in general is good.

Hostel Fernando is very pleasant hostel, situated in Gothic area,from hostel is easy to get to metro station and even on foot to many important places in Barcelona, the rooms are clean, the breakfast various and tasty, the reception is open 24h, which is very helpful. Definetly i would recommend to stay there:)

Clean place to sleep and shower. Location was very good. There is not a general common area to meet people and gather. Staff were not too friendly but they were helpful when asked upon.

We were very pleased with everything. The staff was very helpful and nice. We hope that one day we comeback!

The conditions of the room were great. Wc perfectly clean as well as the sheets. Every morning the staff with change the towels and bed sheets. We felt very secure with a great spirit between travelers. Breakfast wonderfull. Excellent location.

Loved the interior of the hallways and the breakfast room. The sleeping room very small, but perfect for...sleeping., and that was all we needed. Loved the position as central as could be.Only bad thing was a little noisy night were young Brits were having an hour of slamming doors and drunk shouting. Please receptionist tell them to quite down, because your there 24 hours, so you must have heard.

Would 100 % go there again. We wanted a real hotel but everything was occupied. How lucky for us , we saved a fortune,and were very happy with this hostel.

We will come back here :) we give 100% for everything. Location amazing (near the main street), room was like in 4 stars hotel... The BEST holiday in my last 5 years :) I would realy recommend for everybody this hostel

we spent 7 nights in Albergue Fernando and it's a fine hostel! what we liked most: the position is great, on Ferran Street, which is one of the most beautiful streets near la Rambla, breakfast was more than fine, gave you quite a few options - meat, cheese, butter, jam, milk, sweets, drinks and it is served in a very nice space. first 2 nights were in a double room and i have to say it's way better than the dormitories, but still the hostel was comfortable enough and clean. it doesn't have a lot of common areas though, so it doesn't give you the opportunity to socialize a lot and meet people. perhaps some thematic evenings (special dinner, a cooking class etc.) in the place where breakfast is served would give the place some more friendliness. all in all, a quite neutral but good quality hostel.

This Hostel is realy central in Barcelona. Breakfast was better than any other hostels in Spain. I think It is a bit expansive. Officers were helpful. Thats it..I suggest to stay there.

We stayed at the hostel for a week and liked it very much. We were surprised about the cleanliness and the new and furnishings in the room. Breakfast was good and enough. Staff friendly and helpful. We would recommend it without any reservations!

Extremely important and excellent characteristic: the Fernando is a really very clean place. The service is very correct and assertive and the location is brilliant.

We had two drawbacks and that is a noisy air conditioning and that the mattress was worn out.

You get a very good room for this price.

We had a great stay at Fernando's. Very clean rooom (double room with bath) and friendly staff. Internet access (€1 for 30 minutes) and small snacks available in the lobby. The common room is a bit dull, but there's no need for in-house entertainment anyway. Fernando's is literally within a few seconds walk from the bars, shops and restaurants.

Very close to Ramblas in a beautyful shopping street. Nice Hostel. Think I`d come back.

I've stayed here for 4 days and met some really nice people in the room. The location is perfect in one way, but on the other hand a very busy and noisy sidestreet of Las Ramblas. I thought Hamid was a very nice and funny person (the one sitting behind the desk in the morning).

Was a great little hostel, brilliant location just off la ramblas. Staff were pleasant and was good value for money, our dorm room was nice. Would come back again!!

Super location, that's the greatest thing about the hostel!!! Nice and clean rooms, we had a triple room, seemed like a hotel room. Staff is okay. It's difficult to socialize with other guests because u never see them, but we were never there also because BARCELONA is the greatest city ever!!!

Great location, at the centre of the buzz. Staff were very helpful when I had problems (stolen wallet). Reasonably clean. 24-hour reception is a good thing. Big lockers, including lockers to leave stuff after check-out. No common area, so fun/socialization must happen in the room or in the street.

great way to get the best out of your visit in barcelona. doesn't matter if travelling alone, you allways meet good people in the hostal fernando.

The double room was pretty nice, not big but with all conforts: cleaned with air conditioned and tv.

Only the window was little and without the possibility to leave swimsuits to dry.

The location of this hostel is great: just a few steps from La Rambla and el barrio Gotico and very well linked to the metro station!!! we had a very clean double room with air conditioning (very important if you decide to stay in Barcelona in July) and towels were changed every day. My only complaint is about someone of the staff who was not very friendly and looked like if you were disturbing him...however I would definitely recommend this place!

This is a good clean hostel situated in the best place in Barcelona - right next to La Rambla. The stuff is nice and helpful and it's really cheap! If You want to meet new people, this probably isn't the best place to do that, but just walk out of the door and You'll get a chance to find lots of new friends - it's Barcelona!
