Panizo Hostel

Good enough for low budjet travellers. Clean place. Only one shower and two toilets for all quests, but that`s enough if everyone understands it...don`t take your phone or book with you to the toilet. Location is perfect. Everythibg is around you but you can sleep in silence.

Location was very good, but all of the things in this hostel were so old. It wasn't worth paying that price.

Very nice place, ladies that are taking care of this hostel are very nice and helpful. It is not the highest standard when it comes about estetics, but it was very clean and tidy. Our beedsheets were changed every second day, every day they were cleaning a bit our room, which actually was very nice. Localisation? There is nothing more to say apart from the fact there is in the main centre of city. Around the hostel are placed small restaurants and bars that are not so attended by tourist, more by Spanish people. They serve there very good food for a very nice price. I highly recommend this hostel!

Perfect hostel, incredibly well situated, the hostess is amazingly nice, just the perfect place to be.

We had a nice stay, great location in a nice area. Would defenitly come back when I visit Madrid again.

The location of the hostel is very good, next the metro stations, supermarkets, small bars and cafes.

Very clean and peaceful, nice place to rest after the days of walking and night parties. Stuff do no speak any english but are friendly inspite of that, non-working TV, very small but cozy rooms

Well located, good assistance. Nice price! But, at summer the room is very hot!

The hostel was very clean and in the middle of the city centre. Rooms had bed linen, towels and even a private shower. Rooms were only really hot (no airconditioner) and the 'women of the hostel' didn't speak any english.

Very clean and in a prime position right near Sol station and the main shopping strip. Can be noisy at night though and we only got one set of keys between the 2 of us!

Only one shower for all the guests. I found a cockroach from the toilets. People smoked in the toilets. A lot of noice, but no parties. No air-condition. Staff didn't speak english. But otherwise a nice and pretty clean hostel in the centre. Lot of bars shops and sights near. I could sleep there again.

Panizo hostel offers the bare essentials, but more than expected considering the very low prices! Simple and a little bare, but clean. Excellent central location. We recommend it!

Near by to lots of great places to visit but the neighborhood was very noisy all through the night.

hostel is situated in the centre of Madrid - it is just 7 min. by foot to the center and to the metro station. It is quite clean, polite owners, just doesn't speak english. I liked this hostel and would recommend to other people :)

The Hostel is very well located, but the rooms are ugly and the hostel looks very very cheap. The staff doesnt speak a very good english but they are friendly. There is just one shower for everyone, the rooms are small. Dont expect tourist information, they dont have even a map to give you.

For people that don't mind using a bathroom outside the room, this hostel is quite alright. There was a big downside though: the water pipes are very noise and that woke us up a couple of times in the morning.

Panizo Hostel is very good situated - in the central of Madrid. Not very comfortable, but for this price you can´t expect much more. The bathrooms were very clean, the staff very friendly. The only thing really molesting was the noisiness in the house and in the street (full of bares and clubs). It was difficult to sleep.

great place. we didnt mind the noise at night because we are used to the city, but our beds were made every day and we got towels! onw down side was that i wouldnt count on the wifi. i tried many times and could not connect. otherwise, the people were so nice, the place was in great condition and we very much enjoyed our stay.

A very well located hostel and a good local to stay if you want to rest a little bit. If you want a cheap hostel with privacity, just choose it!

if u r looking for a cheap place to stay in the center it is perfect..the only problem is friday and saturday evening because there is a discotec near the hostel so if ur room leads the street it might be difficult for u to sleep..but for the rest is perfect and during the week also silence

very pleasant staff, rooms cleaned and linen changed everyday. very non interfering and pleasant people.

lovely people running the place. kept it clean at all times. a good place to live in for the rates. no breakfast or internet, though.

We didn't actually stay and panizo, we were placed in Miami Hostal which was very nice -- would definitely stay at miami again!

A very nice and clean hostel, this is the cleanest hostel i've been in!!. Very good location, but it's very noisy at night in this street. Nice staff, but they don't speak english.

Ok for the price, hard to sleep with the noise from the other rooms, and people walking around

Staff is very friendly, rooms are clean, location is perfect - but on weekends street and bar downstairs are horribly loud, the single-room beside the toilet is bad, because there is almost no light in it and you cant barely sleep when other visitors need to go to the toilet frequently at night! anyway, good for its price!

great position! clean, calm... for those who appreciate private atmosphere rather than "party, party, party" ambience of classic students hostels. problem comes with communication - local staff speak ONLY SPANISH

simple hostel about 5 to 10 minutes to walk to place del sol, near to sqare st. anna. the room didn´t have a window, was very small, but ok. the stuff was very nice, but spoke only spanish. The hostel´s position is very central, there are a lot of places to go out in the evening, e.g. a disco across the small street. I would recommend not to walk alone there at night.

I have really enjoyed my stay at the Panizo hostel. It has a great location, right at the centre of the hostel. The person who was charge was very very helpful and friendly.

A nice place to stay. Easy to find the hostel from the subwaystation. But it would have been nice if the light in the hallway had been off during the night!Small lamps instead of in the ceiling would make a huge difference. And please,put some protectionwire in front of the electric-fan!

THIS HOSTEL IS GOOD EXCEPT THE LOCATION, THOUGH IT IS NEAR TO CITY CENTER, IT is close to a very noisy street, so in summer, you will be killed by weather or noisy.
