Such a great hostel.I will say is more than hostel but like a five star hotel renamed as hostel to help global trotters enjoy their stay at very low cost!

I was charged for 4 euros to be able to start booking this hotel however it figured out that they were having only room for girls. So they declined to let me stay and I lost a chance to stay somewhere this night. Also, nobody returned me these 4 euros..

So I was spending all night outside.

Make sure that the room is not for girls/boys only.

The hostel itself is really beautiful, easy to reach from the airport, super clean and the staff very friendly.

But it has no atmosphere, it's kind of cold and it is way overpriced: I spent 52€ for one night in a 8-bed dorm. I understand competition and market, but it feels like the spirit of youth hostel is completely gone!

Weren't hostels supposed to be for people travelling on a budget and willing to make friends?

Dear traveller all around the world!

I stayed at UHostels Madrid for a week while looking for a place to live here for a year (exchange student).

The location of Uhostels is perfect to explore the city, the nearest metrostations are Bilbao or Alonso Martínez which can be reached real easy by walking. There is a supermercado very near to the hostel or a lot of places to eat something near the metrostation Bilbao. By the way the breakfast is great and for 3€ more you will get a Big breakfast which will definitely keep you healthy over the midmorning.

If you have any question the staff will give you an answer! For example where you can go out at night, where to eat Tapas and much more. Just ask them! :-)

The 90 point for the cleaniness it's just because the showers are sometimes a bit dirty but if you are used to live in a hostel that shouldn't be a big problem and just to make sure that you don't get it wrong - the hostel in general is very clean.

There are also offers organized be the hostel like a pubcrawl every night!, Flamenco, free city tour, and much more - check it out!

So, to sum up with any doubt I can recommend staying for some nights or longer @Uhostels Madrid. The staff is super nice and helpful, the location ist perfect to get around the city, you can meet a lot of diferent people all around the world and you live in a I would say modern and kind of hip hostel in Madrid!

very clean and good facility.

U Hostel had AMAZING customer service. Our room was overbooked upon arriving, and management apologized and had us moved to an incredible 4 star hotel and paid for the difference. Went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of with the error, and even offered 20% on our next trip! Well rated and recommend.
