Very good localization and nice staff, Kleber was very helpful and nice to talk with, he gave us nice tips :-). the only problema was the noise during the night, we could ear everything that happened in the room next door, and we sleep very litle in the 2 nights we've stayed

It was just great! Very clean, charming room, with a location close to the center but still calm. The staff was also very friendly. Walls are not too thick, but if you have good neighbors, there's nothing to worry about-unfortunately we didn't.

Very nice! The front desk person/owner is very nice and helpful and speaks English very well. The location is very good... on the road that circles the old city. The old city is not very large, so it is an easy walk to the center (Plaza Mayor) or the other side of town.
Americans who want eggs for breakfast at a good price will find a McDonalds right off Plaza Mayor selling Egg McMuffins (almost unheard of in Spain!). I'm not a McD's fan normally, but I was "jonesing" for eggs at a decent price! Salamanca is a wonderful town... enjoy!

The hostel is at the perimeter of the historical city center and thus only 500m away from Plaza Mayor.
Staff are generally friendly.
The only disadvantage was that our room constantly smelt odd. That, however, may seem less of an inconvience to other travellers.
