The host that welcomed us so late at night was so helpful. We really appreciated her care.

Best hostel I've ever been to!

The hostel is a fair way out of town, but accessible via bus (after a 10 minute walk). We had a car, so this wasn't such a problem for us. The staff were all great, and the grounds were nice and green/quiet, but we felt the kitchen area (especially the fridges) could have been kept a little cleaner.

Very clean and new rooms. Big kitchen to use. Lacks some atmosphere. Booked a female dorm but was placed in a mixed dorm. Didn´t know that untill some guys came in at 2AM. When I asked about this the following morning the lady behind the counter said that couldn´t be true, it was a female dorm. After insisting I wanted to change rooms because there were defenitely guys inside, there was a big sigh I was placed in another room. Not especially friendly staff behind counter, but maybe it was only this lady.

It is a nice modern hostel. It is very clean and it offers very good prices. I would definitely recommend it to my friends.

Great hostel, helpful staff. But the location is very bad. It's on a mountain and far from the city centre. If you have a car, I recommand it;if not, then you will be frustrated at climbing the mountain everyday.

It's a pretty new hostel, so it's got all the usual stuff and then a little more. Very clean, large living room. The only problem with this hostel might be its location: it's pretty far from town, buses are a thing but you have to walk 10-15 minutes to the bus stop. As long as you're prepared to do this, this is an excellent hostel.

Modern facility in the middle of the park a short bus trip out of old town. It's not right in the action but that can be a good thing of you want a good night's sleep. Very clean place. Excellent staff. I would recommend but not for big time party goers.

not sign posted off the major motorway routes was a nightmare to find.

staff were not that clued up on bus time getting back from town.and taxi drivers didn't know where it was.i guess that will change as time goes on.

A bit far from the center (10 euros taxi ride), but perfect location if you are looking for a nature getaway!

Great new hostel but the location was quite far and hard to get to from San Sebastián town centre. As its in the park it is quite scary for a lone female to get back to at night. Would recommend to people travelling in a group. Overall the hostel was great just the location lets it down.

Location is a bit far from the centre and public transport. Luckily we had a car. For the rest, the hostel is on a nice green quiet hill on the edge of the city. The staff could be a bit more friendly (were quite uninterested during check in and check out). Cleaning could be better. Public kitchen is far too small to be of use.

Cheaper than hostels in the city centre but ends up costing you more in transport. Comfortable and clean rooms but tiny showers and unhygienic kitchen. Wifi didn't work first day and doesn't work in any rooms

Absolutely amazing hostel! In a stunning forest location which although is a bit of a walk from the metro and town is such a relaxing, calm place to stay! Great, cheap food in the restaurant and a brilliant vibe from all the people! A definite MUST.

Renting towels isn't fun and there were no pillow cases. Pretty location just wish it was closer to the city center.

We came by car and brought our mountain bikes. The location was perfect for us as a couple. For single travelers a bit lonely. To get back from the city center you have to walk through an dark and empty park.

Since we had a car the location was great but if you tried to get there by public transportation it would be more difficult so we rated location a 90. Otherwise totally satisfied with our stay there.

It´s new (opened on 17-09-2012) so everything is clean and perfect. The only objection is about the location: you need a car.

As some of the first guests at the Green Nest, we had a great time! The place and location is gorgeous and the staff have tons of ideas of how to make the hostel a really fantastic destination. We had a private room and bathroom with an incredible view, loads of space. We used the kitchen and terrace and found them wonderful as well as our walk around the park the hostel is in. Having stayed at the White Nest in Granada as well, I highly recommend the Nest to anyone. Go Green next time you visit San Sebastian, you're expectations of a hostel will be exceeded!
