Established 2014, Bed Hostels is revolutionizing hosteling in Sri Lanka. We are a design-led and fun-focused hostel in the heart of dynamic Colombo, with common room, games room, outdoor terrace, kitchen, and a range of modern dorms at budget rates. Our friendly, international staff are happy to help you with your trip in and beyond Colombo, day or night. We run nightly events in the hostel and take guests out to experience Colombo's nightlife.

Bed Hostels provides five dorm rooms with ensuite bathrooms. We have both all-female and mixed dorms, ranging from 4- to 10-bed sizes. Each bed comes with personal fan, mosquito net, locker, linens, and towel. Our four standard dorms are ventilated with powerful fans, and we have one superior air-conditioned dorm.

Our two common rooms include guest-use computers, book exchange, games, ping pong table, movies, and comfy chairs and beanbags to chill out on. We also have a guest-use kitchen and an outdoor terrace with cafe-style seating. A simple breakfast of bread and jam is provided, and there is 24-hour free tea and coffee available, as well as soft drinks and snacks for purchase.

At Bed Hostels Colombo, everything you need is on the doorstep. There's a grocery store and bus stop across the street, as well as a tuktuk stand, curry restaurant, street food, Thai restaurant, and cafe. Bars, more restaurants and cafes, salons, and local fruit and liquor markets are a ten-minute walk away. We are located in one of the safest neighbourhoods of downtown Colombo, in a primarily residential area.
