Chesa Pool ***

Description

The accommodation was built in 1585 by order of Baptista von Salis. Many nature lovers, generations and families have bonded with Chesa Pool. The historical charm of the house can still be felt. It was used as a farmhouse until 1973 and then rebuilt.

In the 21 different rooms you can dream the night away – enjoying the homely simplicity, sheltered by warm pinewood.
You can book one of the rooms which are in various price categories, including: Half-board.

In the restaurant or in the 'Chamineda', which is ideal for private groups of up to 14 people and small events, you can enjoy the culinary excellence.
The prices include breakfast and an evening menu with several courses, as well as a welcoming aperitif. You can also use the free wifi.

Chesa Pool is located next to Fex Platta. Thanks to the free shuttle bus you can reach it in only 5 minutes, with horse-drawn carriage it's a 25 minutes ride and by feet you arrive there after 20 minutes.

'Chesa' means house and in Romanic it is a typical name for a venerable, old Engadine house. The Hotel is a place where women smoked meat in the 'Chamineda', farmers used to store their hay and and where everyone lent a hand in clearing the metres of snow by hand in this place of power, Platta.
