Karibu! The Warere is housed in a restored Arab mansion, where each room has been uniquely furnished using traditional Zanzibari furniture and vitenge cloth. We pride ourselves in the quality and affordability of our rooms. Our deluxe rooms offer a sea view terrace and are fully airconditioned. The Arab-influenced rooftop terrace, where your breakfast is served, affords breath-taking views of the harbor and Stone Town.

The Warere has been newly renovated to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible. Each room has been lovely refurbished using traditional vitenge cloth and Zanzibari furnishings. We offer accommodation suitable for all pocketbooks, from singles with fans to deluxe triples with A/C. All rooms are ensuite.

Our breakfast, served on the roof top terrace, includes a mouthwatering array of traditional Zanzibari breads, fresh fruits, coffees and spiced tea. We can also cater for special dietary requirements if given notice.

Our location is exceptionally convenient. We are within 5 minutes of the port and a quick 10 minute walk from the legendary Forodhani Gardens,where you can experience the traditional Zanzibari barbeque.

Our staff are happy to assist you with any requirements, be it Spice Tours or transfers to the spectacular beaches of Zanzibar.
