Galata West Hostel

Directions (how to arrive at the hostel):

DIRECTIONS FROM ATATURK INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Take a metro from Airport in the direction of Yenikapi.

Get off the metro at Yenikapi. (Yenikapi is the terminal station and is also the interchange station)

Take the metro from Yenikapi in the direction of Haciosman metroline.

Get off the metro at Sishane metro station.

After get off the metro at Sishane, walk through the direction of Kasimpasa and use the Refik Saydam Caddesi exit to get out. From there it is just a little walk to the hostel. Walk down through the Refik Saydam street until you get to the split where there are two streets called Buyuk Hendek and Okcu Musa. Take the street Okcu Musa, which is on your right. Continue on this road, you will see that it will go downhill. On the second left you will see there is a small dead end road, where you will see a neon light which says GALATA WEST. There is a door to enter the hostel. If you arrive during the night the door will be closed. Just ring the bell and we will open it for you.

DIRECTIONS FROM SABIHA GOKCEN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT AND TAKSIM

Take a Havatas Private Shuttle Bus from the airport.

Get off the bus at the last stop, Taksim Square.

Take a metro from Taksim Square to Sishane.

After get off the metro at Sishane, walk through the direction of Kasimpasa and use the Refik Saydam Caddesi exit to get out. From there it is just a little walk to the hostel. Walk down through the Refik Saydam street until you get to the split where there are two streets called Buyuk Hendek and Okcu Musa. Take the street Okcu Musa, which is on your right. From Taksim Square walking is also an another option. It will take 30 minto get our hostelfromTaksim Sqaure by walking. You can walk through the Istiklal Street all the way.

Or take a taxi from Taksim Square to our hostel.

SECOND WAY TO COME TO GALATA WEST HOSTEL FROM SABIHA GOKCEN AIRPORT

Take the bus E10 from the airport.

Get off the bus at the last stop, Kadikoy.

Take a ferry from Kadikoy to Karakoy.

From Karakoy station it is just a little walk to the hostel. From the ferry station walk up through the Kemeralti street and turn left to Bankalar Street. This is a street where mainly capital banks are. Continue until you get to the split where there are two streets called Sair Ziya Pasa and Okcu Musa. Take the street Okcu Musa, which is on your left. Continue up this road, you will see that it will go uphill. After the mosque, you will see on your right there is a small dead end road, where you will see a neon light which says GALATA WEST. If you arrive after midnight the main door will be closed. Just ring the bell and we will open it for you.

Şişhane metro istasyonundan Karaköy istikametine doğru, Okçu Musa (Bankalar) caddesini takip ediniz. Otelimiz 200 metre ileride Savcıbey çıkmazında yer almaktadır. Okçu Musa Camii’ne gelmeden önce ilk soldadır. Bankalar caddesinin sağ tarafında kalan Akbank’ı geçtiğiniz gibi ilk soldadır.

Please negotiate with the price before you hop on. From Ataturk Airport, it costs around 50-60 Turkish Liras. From Sabiha Gokcen Airport, it costs around 120-130 Turkish Liras.
