Menekse Apart and Hotel

Description

The Menekse is a fairly small hotel with a mixture of hotel rooms and apartments. Having the aprtments means that if you really need to watch the pennies then you can do all your own food, although to be honest you can eat out so cheaply in Marmaris it's probably not worth it.

All rooms come with air conditioning and a balcony as standard. Otherwise the rooms are fairly basic rooms but pretty clean and tidy, and just fine if you are not planning to spend much time indoors anyway!

The rest of the hotel consists of a pretty small reception area plus an outdoor restaurant (with some shade). Then there is a compact pool which is ideal for cooling off but not for doing any serious swimming. For further cooling off there is an excellent poolside bar with satellite television and plenty of chilled beers.

The location near to the amphitheatre is pretty good although the hotel itself is on a fairly busy road. There is a supermarket by the hotel and also some restaurants nearby. Howver, you are a good 10 minute walk from the centre of the resort and 15 minutes from the beach so it's not ideal if you don't like walking.

Overall, Menekse Hotel is a good budget option probably best suited to singles or couples who don't mind being that little bit out of town.
