Fat Cat Backpackers is a new budget hostel located in the heart of Kampala, Uganda. Boasting clean beds, hot showers and lovely staff, and within walking distance of a whole bunch of great places, it’s the ideal place to base yourself while you’re in town.

The Fat Cat has 10 rooms, 5 of which are mixed dormitories and 3 of which are private rooms. All of the beds in the shared rooms are bunk beds, ranging from 2 to 4 per room. The private rooms have either double beds or single beds depending on which one you choose. The bathrooms are shared by all of the guests.

There is a lounge room as well as a rooftop terrace for guests to spend time at. There is also a garden outside. Breakfast and WiFi are included during your stay.

The Fat Cat is in a central location, as it is surrounded by big destinations such as Acacia Mall and the Uganda National Museum.
