Lovely place to stay - very nice and helpful service (my fiance got sick during our visit in Kiev and the owner of the hostel helped us to buy medicines, took care of him, helped us to get to the train station and so on). Hostel is good located, the rooms are clean and cosy. It is a very good alternative for noisy, overcrowded hostels! We recommend DiscoverKyiv very much :)

Every thing went better than expected

It was BEST hostel we've ever been !!! The best is service, we mean

managers/owners Igor & Alex. They are very helpful, kind, comunicative,

they know English, Italian, Polish & Russian (all very good) and can

communicate in any Slavic language. On 1st day they offered themselves to

show us Kiev (free) - really kind. Hostel is located very close to town centre. It is

true that this is not "regular" european hostel, couse it is flat which is

used as hostel, but it is a big PLUS :) Hostel was very clean, tidy, kitchen

with all supply was avalible all the time. It was just PERFECT !!!

Let me recommend that place! The location is perfect - in the heart of Kiev. The place is comfortable, clean and not too expensive. But the most important thing is the service - the owner of the hostel, Igor, is a very nice, smart and helpful person. Don't hestitate to chose that place!

There was a discrepancy on if it was paid. I paid the deposit by credit card. The amount due was also to be on the credit card. I was then asked to pay with cash. It left me short of cash for the remainder of my trip. It cost me money to get more cash.

not bad for that price

It is not regular western kind of hostel. It is shared flat so I recommended for staying but not think like a European kind of hostel.
