Terrible choice. We had made reservation in advance. Even though, the staff did not find it. They put me and my girlfriend in a tiny claustrophobic room, with no windows. The warmth was unbelievable and the fun was broken. After a restless night, they move us to a better room. But even with all the bills already paid for one more night, they entered our room and packed our stuff! We got back and someone else was in our room. After arguing, they find us a third room (3 rooms in 3 nights, even with previously booking).

The staff is simply incompetent, some people were partying until 4, playing pool, singing...etc, next to the rooms were people slept and had to sleep a minimum to get the bus in the early morning... Even after asking the staff to do something, they just didnt care and let the mess continue... If you want to pay for a hostel with fun but also with sleep, do no go there... pay the last day so that you can ask no to pay for the night you didnt get a chance to sleep... And by the way Montevideo sucks... my point of view only!

Staff helpful and friendly. Very clean and great location particularly with balconing overlooking the plaza. A+++
