To get to the Hostel from Miami Int'l Airport you have three basic choices:

Rent a car - if you plan on returning your car at the hostel we have an Enterprise and Budget near by.
Take public transport
Use the SuperShuttle - make sure to ask for their 'Hotel Rate' and give them the Hostel's address (20 SW 2 AVE, Florida City 33034) $41/person.

Take the C or K Bus* to the Government Center (Metrorail Station)
take the Metrorail* south to Dadeland Mall South
take either Bus 34 (Busway Flyer) or Bus 38 (Busway Max) to Florida City
get off at SW 344 ST (W Palm DR) Hostel is across the street

Take the J Bus* to Douglas Road (Metrorail Station)
take the Metrorail* south to Dadeland Mall South

Take the 'Dade-Monroe Express' (JGT) from the Hostel on SW 344 ST (W Palm DR) in Florida City to as far down as mile marker 50 in Marathon Key

Connect with the 'Lower Keys Shuttle' from Marathon Key (mm 50) to Key West

Note: the Lower Keys Shuttle offers day pass as well as multi-day passes and can take you all around Key West
