O.k. place to stay in LA. Close to USC and not too far from downtown. Bus or light rail close by for other destinations.
Not the cleanest hostel but that didn't bother me. Nice being in an old plantation style house.

The hostel was a great location and has a great cost, but it was hard to contact staff and slightly unorganized. Staff is friendly, however, and helpful with whatever I needed. The hostel had a very communal vibe, rather than a strict/organized/professional type of vibe. It was a cool experience!

The house is unbelievably beautiful! I'm going to have a photoshoot in it - you should see that vintage furniture! The location is quite good, too. I like the price :)

l 'hostel was great! service hostelclub many times wrong prices ... you do not trust, always call the 'hostello for confirmation!

If I could I would give 110 for the staff, absolutely marvellous people, there were some payment issues on part of the hostelsclub website but we were able to figure everything out without any hassle.
I would recommend staying at this place to anyone who wants to visit the LA, it feels like a hotel and it is very close to public transportation.
I've been travelling around the USA for many weeks and this is the best place I've ever stayed at during my journeys.

I reservated hotel in your web site, because I thought your site is resonable and reliable. However, it was totally not!! I couldn't stay in the hotel that I reservated in LA because of the unsaftey. I was going to 'The Mansion Hostel' I reservated, but all the people in the bus couldn't let me go to the hotel. They said that district is for the homeless and it is very dangerous to go to there. Because of that I got off the bus and asked to many others on thr road, and they all recommanded to me do not go to there. As a result, I should reservate another hotel to stay for 5 days including that first night! I had to pay a lot of money and I was near that dangerous district at that time. It was so dangerous and scary. I didn't want to stay in other hotel, because I already booked and paid pre-fee. I think my tour is spoiled because of you and I am really upset. I comlain to you and you sould do something for me. Bye.
