Not recommendable. Umconfortable. Some rude staff. Pros: Not bad-situated and Wi-Fi available, good indications to get there, but we will neither repeat nor recommend this apartments.
Only cash payment.
There is an unspecified and new "towel charge" (2 small towels), amount 5.50€. We were never informed about that.
No everyday cleaning. No blanket over matress cover.
Small bugs in room (spiders).

not badsituated is interesting, taking into consideration that it is situated in one of the most hip areas and super-close to the city centre.
you had a an aprtment with bedroom, livingroom, small kitchen corner in the entry, shower, toilet. for all that you payed 42euro per night, this means you payed 21euro per person. usually our staff never is rude. but, for this price no extra service can be expected. the charge for bedlinen and towels is not new and has been in use since easter 2011.
everyday cleaning was not in the offer. everyday cleaning would rise the prices considerably!
for sure there was a blanket over the matress. supposedly there is different ways of preparing beds in austria than in other parts of the world! to austrian standards the bedding was complete!
spiders: sorry, maybe we did not get them quickly enough. the apartment had been cleaned on the day of your arrival following normal standards.
if there were spiders, we really do apologize for that.

The woman and owner (Irene) yell at my husband and shot the door of our apartment before him... (the man was a lot nicer and calm). In fact, their apartment are not in good condition, and when it rains, they have to shot down electricity! My husband said they could not do this and they should give us a refund... she refused... he explained we had food in the fridge. Also, when we washed the dishes, it would come out from the drain in the bathroom, ouach! So, in general, we have been stressed the entire stay that they would shoot down electricity... They requested instead that we don't use electricity to half of the apartment and put shoes in case of electrocution!!??!!

interesting: how can you know who owns the house?
sad: instructions of staff regarding safety are be followed, but Mr. Lefebvre did oppose to all quiet asking to accept and follow safety instructions. on every boat, bus or airplane you would follow and accept safety instructions when necessary.
conclusion: with a bit more of cooperation on your part the situation would not have been as difficult!!

This hostel is very quiet, located close to Schottenring metro station and a 15 min walk to the St. Stephan church and city center. s close to a market with lots of restaurants and cafes, Karmelitenmarkt.The room was big, isolated from other rooms, warm,with big bed, sofas, table, cooking plate and bathroom with hot water. Free Wi-fi works great. We were not disturbed at all, we didnt meet other people, just the administrator which was very helpful. Everything was there, including cups for coffe, except some soap in bathroom. The bathroom is simple but good. Was a very good experience.

The apartment is very nice and really good choose for staying a few days at Vienna. Very good and useful location, it is near from sub station and market. The rooms very clean and pretty, but one of bad is creaking all night. I very recommend you to stay in this apartment for good price!

Very simple but excellent for the money I paid for it. Very close to the city center, to the U-bahn, confortable and quiet area.Good for those who are not in need of noisy "fun".

Really nice hostel, near to the city center - you can reach it on foot. Rooms quite big and well-equiped. Rooms standard-5/6, bathrooms standard-3/6. Great place for that price - we highly recommend it!!!

There was everything I can imagine we could need for sleeping and simple cooking while travelling... the location is great, the only problem was parking as nearby garage is quite expensive..

Very good deal, ideal place for people seeking quiet yet close to city centre accomodation. 10 min walk to U-bahn, 15 min to Ring, 15 min U-bahn/walk to Prater. Mowia po polsku.

A really nice appartment to stay. Clean, big, good furniture, a small kitchen...It takes a bit to get to the citycenter but it is possible to walk there (15 min).

Basic, but clean and fully equipped. Very close to downtown, public transports and useful shops (supermarket, post office, internet café,...). It hasn't a very nice look outside, but we really liked it anyway. Little problems solved in short time (you have to text the office in working hours).

simply perfect!wide apartment, not bright but you have hot water, very useful kitchen and fridge.it's in a great position quite near the subway or tram 1-2 and just 4 minute to the bermuda dry decker!

Cheap for Vienna. You live on your own. Just a basic appartement, but quite big. Sufficiently equipped (fridge, microwave, etc.) but not everything was working (kettle, tv). Good connection from airport. 10 min. to city center. Rather quiet area.

A very charming place, the room is nested in a calm courtyard full of plants, with a big tree too. Don't hesitate! PS: 15 min walking from downtown across the danaukanal.

It is a comfortable appartment, clean and in a very good place. Staff is kind. We arrived in late and there was any problem. The only problem was to find a park for the car! Anyway it's a very good solution.
