How to get to Rio Surf N Stay

- By taxi or car: Put in the GPS the address Estrada do Pontal, 500, Recreio dos Bandeirantes, Rio de Janeiro. When you arrive at the street, you’ll find a surf shop (Udo Bastos Surf Shop) at the corner. Go in the street (8W street) and turn right again into R. Raimundo Veras, 1140. You will see the Rio Surf N Stay sign on the left side.

- From bus terminal (Rodoviaria Novo Rio): Get the bus # 315-Recreio (via Linha Amarela). It takes about 1hr.
When you arrive at Recreio neighborhood, you’ll see the beach. The bus goes through the main road (Estrada do Pontal – parallel to the beach). You are going to drop off at the corner of the main road with Rua Guiomar de Novaes (there is a Clube Sírio Libanês at the corner). Then, follow the “by foot” instructions below.

- From Copacabana, Ipanema, Leblon, Botafogo, Flamengo, Centro: Take bus #360 - Recreio. It takes 1-2hrs from downtown.
When you arrive at Recreio neighborhood, you’ll see the beach. The bus goes through the main road (Estrada do Ponta – parallel to the beach). You are going to drop off at the corner of the main road with Rua Guiomar de Novaes (there is a Clube Sírio Libanes at the corner). Then, follow the “by foot” instructions below.

- From airports:
SDU: Catch the blue bus “Real” to Alvorada through Linha Amarela ($ 12,00 reais). It takes about 1h 30 min.
Get another bus to Recreio (314, 315, 880 or 360 Recreio). When you arrive at Recreio neighborhood, you’ll see the beach. The bus goes through the main road (Estrada do Pontal – parallel street). You are going to drop off at the corner of the main road with Rua Guiomar de Novaes (there is a Clube Sírio Libanes at the corner). Then, follow the “by foot” instructions below.
GIG:, you can take the BRT bus to the Terminal Alvorada. From Terminal Alvorada you will catch another BRT bus to Recreio Shopping. Drop off at Recreio Shopping and follow the 8w Street by foot (on the map below).

- By foot: At Clube Sirio Libanês (corner of main road – Estrada do Pontal – with Rua Guiomar Novaes) you’ll keep walking towards Prainha. Afer 1 block, you’ll see on the corner at your right a surf shop (Udo Bastos Surf Shop). Go in the street (8w Street). Turn your first right, we are at your left #1140.
Attention to GPS

It doesn’t show our correct address!!!!! You have to put this coordinates -23.030739, -43.483795. Another option is to put the following address: Estrada do Pontal, 7131, Recreio dos Bandeirantes, Rio de Janeiro. When you arrive, you’ll see Udo Bastos Surf Shop. Go into that street (8W Street) and turn right again. We are on the left at the beginning, #1140. You’ll see a Rio Surf N Stay sign.
