Havanate

A few days before our arrival in Havana we got a message that our room was changed from the original place to a place a in another street. We ended up in a window-less room in a very dirty street. It became so humid in the room that sleeping was hardly possible.

Good value for money.

Clean, good location, calm neighbor, and awesome host. They speak English good enough to communicate with non-Spanish speaker like me.. Just ask them if you are planning to visit other cities in Cuba. Can't believe it's only $20/night. ($10 each with your friend!)

Very tide. Located in Havana Centro, far from Habana Vieja (20 min walking). Around there's nothing! So you always need to pick up a bici taXi.

Friendly hosts, cheap & nothing to complain!

We have been sent to another hostel with only one day notice. Was ok, but we took Havanate because it was meant to be nice.

Te best casa in La Habana! Albert and Claudia are the best hosts, they respond to all of your questions and help you with everything. I recommend it to everyone!

Alberto and Claudia are very nice hosts. We stayed in one house by ourselves and it was pleasant experience. Breakfast was very tasty and I would recommend to have it in the house. The only bad thing is the bed which was quite unconformable, but if you re not picky with these things, you'll be fine. Location is not bad, if you don't mind walking, we found the neighborhood and the city very safe for tourists. I would come back to Havanate

Great great family house to land in! Albert and Claudia are the nicest couple and they will always make sure you have the best experience in havana and in the rest of Cuba! We stayed in one of their houses by ourselves and it was such a brilliant stay. Clean big and quiet right in the centre of Havana. Definitely recommend!

Clean and secure place. Renter wasnt helpful when asking about transportation or places to eat or visit. It was a nice place but I dont think I would stay here again.

Claudia and Alberto were very helpful and great hosts. The breakfast was delicious and I would recommend. They have a puppy who is so lovely and energetic if you like dogs go here just for the puppy. It is about 20 to 30 mins from old town and veradero which is quite a long walk to do daily. The hosts were lovely and left us to ourselves but were always happy to help when we asked questions. They had a fridge in the room which is so good for Havana as its boiling.

A lovely casa runned by a very friendly and polite family. The room was very clean and tidy, we asked for a vegetarian breakfast and did not get dissapointed; different fruits, juice and type of bread everyday! We were always full for the rest of the day. Albert and Claudia are very sweet as well, helped us with an airconditioned taxi to Trinidad and another good casa there as well.

Claudia & Albert are really friendly and helpful hosts! They are very patient and speak nice and slowly if you struggle to understand Spanish. We would happily stay with them again!

Friendly persons and nice room and bathroom are prepared for us. We had a very nice stay there!

We stayed with Albert and Claudia for three days. The room was clean and really nice. They are very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Whether it's to ask for help or for just for a chat, they're are nice lads to have around! The breakfast was very good, the location wasn't bad really, 20 minutes walk and you're in Havana vieja. This casa is the best value we found in Cuba. I definitely recommend Havanate to anyone!

Amazing! Claudia and Albert are such a friendly and welcoming people! They really help you wherever they can and they are the best hosts! The room where we stayed was super Cuban and really clean. The neighborhood is a bit tricky when you are a girl (white) but that is the culture in Cuba you will find this as well in the best streets of La Habana. Just order a taxi or go on a bike and it will be fine :) It was great!

HAvanate is a great casa particular with a lovely family. Claudia and Albert will help you anytime with your travel plans around cuba, can recommend you further casas, sights to see in Havana. We loved the breakfast! Fresh fruits, juices, coffee, eggs, bread...

The room is big and very clean. We also left a suitcase with them which was no problem at all. We hope to see you again in Havana, muchas gracias a Albert y Claudia!
