Hostel is clean and good. Located near formal factory (now it's market), a lot of shops and supermarkets nearby.

I was very satisfied with everything at Amstel house. The staff is extremely nice, the location is good and the hostel is both clean and cheap. I strongly recommend this place to anyone going to Berlin!!

The Hostel is really nice, the staff is really helpful, the rooms and the bathrooms are clean. The only "problem" is the absence of wifi in the rooms, but it still available in the common areas. Recommended!

Not in the middle of everything touristy, but SUPER cheap and very spacious. Laundry, food, rooms, bathrooms are all a bargain. Computers SUCK.

The hostel is not bad but the pictures you can find in the Web page are quite better than the place itself (the rooms).
It's dar away from the center, you have to take the metro (10 minutes by metro).

It's real chep hostel with real good brekfast for 5 euro. But it has not good smell like in hospital, and atmosfere like in hospital...

Charming budget hostel which has value referred to the ratio Price/Quality! however clothes left by mistake into bathrooms cld be loste forever :(

Place is great for visiting berlin. A little far away from main atractions but always have nice staff to help you. Information is clear, free internet and cheap breakfast and nice place to stay. I recommend to improve more places to conect electric devices. I would stay again next time I visit berlin

I can recomend this hostel. It's located quite close to the city center. The staff is very helpful, the rooms are clean, the prices are ok. So it's good place to stay for a few days in Berlin

Good enough for the prise. Clean rooms, very helpful staff. The building is really fancy!!! Free wifi.
Not bad location (about 40 min on foot from the railway station, nice Turkish district), but quide distanced from the center and sights. No kitchen, only bar.

Amazing place, we spent great time over there. Hostel near to Zoologister Garten (20 min to the town center as much).

I had a quite good time in Amstel House Hostel. I stayed in one of the two bed rooms, private, with WC. My friend and I were surprised of the new furniture (IKEA), and the new bathroom, which was really clean. The room was small though, but we didn't stay inside for a long time anyway.
What we also liked was that there was no curfew and a 24h reception. Everyone we asked for something was very friendly.
I had a really good time!!

Everything was great with the exception of the lack of customer service of the employees. You might wait directly in front of someone for over five minutes without getting acknowledged.
