Art in Accommodation

Good location (close to metro, Termini, Colosseum, churches), but strange people and much litter on the neighbouring streets. Thin walls. Clean, but very modestly furnished room. Three bathrooms, all had moldy ceilings, water pressure and temperature problems, small towel. One croissant + one drink breakfast in a bar some hundred meters away. Friendly owner, staff. May be good for a short trip.

The place is not so clean but not dirty either, good enough for the price which actually is very cheap for Rome, good location because you can walk to the Colisseum (about 15 minutes) but the neirborghood is not so nice... The staff is SO nice and kind. I reccomend the place for maximum 3 nigths...

it's ok place to stay...

Close to city centrum, good breakfast, wifi, good price. Sometimes we had to wait for the shared bathroom (4 guest rooms, 2 bathrooms).

Good spot in city. Good breakfast= 1croissant 1drink at cafe around corner. Possible to change towels. Blinds on window. Friendly owner. Very noisy stay, thin walls (staff facetimes from 7am on). Moldy bathroom ceiling, no water pressure in shower, otherwise clean. Hairs on blanket. Sparely equipped (bed, desk, clothes peg) but okay for low price.

After receiving a warm welcome from Paulo we had 2 days with no hot water and no help form a very disinterested staff member. Just a shrug and another puff from her nasty smelling cigarette was all the help we got after requiring about the hot water problem. Seems like customers are just a nuisance to the support staff.

As advantages I can say only location (near to Colosseo) and that it was clean in the bathroom and outside the room. But no one changed our sheets and cleaned the room. Also no one told us about breakfast, we only read about it at home. Sometimes there was no hot water or if it was it was 100 degrees hot. Also we live right near the router so we had strong WiFi signal but it took, literally, hours to connect and often it didn't connect at all.

Don't really recommend this place.

But the owner is a very nice man.

I stayed 3 nights in this hostel and it was ok. First of all I had a separate apartment from the hostel, were we stayed basicly like in our home. You have there: kitchen with oven, fridge, private bathroom, with towels, but no soap and no toilet paper, clean sheets, air conditioning, TV, no WI-FI. If you want some place where nobody disturbs you, then this is the place. But, keep in mind, this is the private apartment. No one will came to clean the room while you're in. All in one I'll recomand this place.

There is no reception. No one to ask about the room, no heating at all. 15 celsius in the roon. No one told us where can we take the breakfast. Clean enough in the room and quiet place.

Modest in facilities - a piece of soap, some electric kettle + cups to make oneself anything to drink - it all costs nothing, but would make it more convenient.

Otherwise - very good value and according to description! Great location and no problems at all! Very pleasant hosts / owners!

I had little problem with Wifi on phone but it worked well on tablet.

The owner is kind and helpful, speaks english quite good, but unfortunately on the first day we met with a lady, who only speaks italian...that made communication quite difficult. First she only wanted to accept cash. The room was ok, but there is no air condition, no TV and the wifi signal was so weak that we were unable to use it. In the bathroom there were problems with warm water. The position is not bad, the subway and some good restaurants are not far.

Very nice hostel, very good Location and the owner was really friendly and helpful. If I go back to Rome I will defenetly choose again this hostel :)

The conditions in hostel was bad. Small rooms with metal beds. Breakfast was in another building far 1 km. Rooms very unpleasant.

We have spent a great time in Rome, it included our accomodation as well. It well positioned, staff is really nice, however only the owner speaks English, but he speaks quite well. Bathrooms were cleaned everyday. Only problem was with the shower, warm water sometimes comes sometimes does not.

Very well located hostel around a 3 minute walk to the metro station and a 10-15 minute walk to the Central Station. Right next to the hostel is a small supermarket and many lovely restaurants. The staff was very helpful in answering all our questions. I highly recommend this place.

Location is very good,really close to metro station.Staffs are really nice. May be we were bitten by louses, but we are not sure.

the room is really simple and the bed is not clean, we got bite by louse and went to hospital the second day.

We spend 7 nights in this hostel. The room was ok until we found out some problems during first night. The bathroom - toilet paper run out so fast because we were so many people sharing it, the handle shower didnt work and pressure of the water didnt work at all. Took so long time to have a water and no hot water. We pay first and last night 50 euros and the other nights 45 euros. Bedroom- we order double bed but it was a bed for one person, gosh. We had asked nicest room, but the room was no window and it was more worse than other rooms. The towels were handtowels! gosh. Hair dryer were so small, took forever to dry our long hairs. also our room were next to the outdoor so it could easily hear all the noice from outside when somebody is coming home. Gosh last day the cleaning lady stole our blanket and just change our trash and even worse, the cleaning lady didnt speak english. The breakfast- it was so hard to find, it wasnt at near as romeo said. so we didnt use it at all. Wifi- sucks, it didnt work with the password romeo gave us. We used dlink wifi, which was open. Over all we will not recommend this for anybody, please do not go this place. Waste of money, its not the value for this.

We had reserved a double bedroom with WC and got an entire apartment to ourselves, so that was a good surprise.

In that sense, it wasn't a proper hostel experience. For anyone who is interested in atmosphere and acquaintanceship between guests maybe not the best option

good locatization, very kind and attentions man who works there. The security is very good too just the breakfast could be better.

We stayed 4 days. We had no special expectations but we left with negative impressions:

1. there was no elecricity and hot water for almost 2 days, just imagine after sightseeing without a shower and charging possibility for our phones, cams, etc, OF COURSE WITHOUT ANY RECOMPENSE FROM THEM.

2. The place where we had breakfast was a half km far, so we had to walk as a zombie early in the morning for A COFFEE AND A CROISSOANT.

3. There was no special place for smoking

4. The so far "having breakfast place" was CLOSED the forth day, obviously we remained without it, and nobody answered the phone from the hostel staff as we wanted to know what was happening

So choose your destiny :P

The staff is actually very friendly though we were not previously informed that there were no towels included, so we had to buy them in a nearby store to be able to have a shower. Busy and noisy street from 6:30am on.

When we arrived, there was a problem with the reservation (human mistake). The owner quickly fixed it and we could stay in another hostel that belong from the same people, called AlEX INN. Perfect location, clean, and very nice people working there.

The stuff was very kind and the room and the bathroom was modest but clear. My only negative comment is about the noisy corridor. The door closings and openings were so loud as if all of the guests had tried to break into their own room.

Very good hostel. I would like to stay in the same place when I will come to Roma next time. Good location- near Termini train station, underground station is in 3 minutes. Art in accommodation has few places. We stayed in a flat with two rooms. Our room has two windows, good double bed, wi-fi. Breakfast is in the pizza restaurant ,near the hostel ( cappuccino and cruassan)Only one minus - the bathroom is not comfortable to use, because it's very small and not very clean.

I'd recommend it to all people which don't visit Roma to stay at Hotel! I'd come there back

Booked a double room with shared bathroom for 4 nights. Room was clean and relatively spacious. Very basic stuff, no tv or hairdryer, only fan in room. There was wifi but sometimes it doesn't work. Staff was really friendly but wasn't there all the time. Although near the metro but located at the back of a street that is not exactly safe. Early in the morning 3-4am, a garbage truck passes by and makes a lot of noise. There are two bathrooms, but big problem with hot water. It's intermittent and when both showers are being used, hot water doesn't work at all. A freezing cold shower is really not nice.

The B&B was really clean, the staff kind and respectfull, the breakfast at the bar good, the position not too central, but really near at the metro station. Very good, If we return in Rome, we will come back here again!

We stayed for 5 nights. Clean enough although there were few stains on sheets. Problems with hot water (Just stops in few min). Location good, but neighborhood very bad and noisy at night. Would not suggest walk around at night. No TV, hairdryer, air conditioning is lamp with fan.

It is what it seems to be: clean rooms, friendly staff, near to Termini, however not the best neigborhood to walk at night. The bathroom might need some modernisation.

good place for this price with breakfast! blanket dirty a bit,and sometimes serve new toilet paper! it would be better we could let our bags there for the last day after we checked out, and our plane gone at night

They have two apartments, we were staying not in general, private double bed with WC. The bathroom was really small, not clean in room and bathroom, not attractive towels, no jalousie.

District is not really fine, although location is good.

Rome tourist tax is included, and breakfast as well (but I wouldn't recommend it). We were not provided with WiFi password even after asking.

But price is really cheap for Rome.

The hostel was clean and the location was convenient for us, within a walking distance from the Termini railway station. Some of the main sights (e.g. colosseo) were also quite close. The hotel manager Paolo is friendly and makes guests feel welcome. The cleaning lady smokes in the office which stinks up the corridor. It didn't bother us but it might be a problem to someone who is sensitive to cigarette smoke. The water pressure in the shower is not that good and while we were there only one of the showers was functional. Otherwise Art in Accommodation is a decent hostel and we had a pleasant stay.

The room was a little bit dirty and the location was not very good. It was expensive considering the foregoing.

The shared bathroom was so dirty that we felt sick to have a shower. The staff wasn't present when we needed it. The only positive poi t was its location, near the coliseum.

Very bad experience. As we arrived in hostel, we were moved to another place. And another day we were moved again!!!! Never more stay here! Bathroom was dirty and broken toilet.

The hostel charged each one of us with an extra 4 Euro apart from the 80 Euros which was the total price for the two nights. They just said it was a payment required for turists.

Great situated-very close to the most interesting points in Rome with clean interior and the hostel crew is very kind and helpful.
