The hosetess is very kind and nice. And it is very clean.

The room is clean, location is superb. It is a little dark and noisy - second floor of six maybe and the window is on the inside. The noise is not coming from the street but from air conditioners outside the room - it is steady so it quickly becomes background noise.

quiet, clean place in the heart of rome!

Stayed in 4 bed dorm. Everything is really good: good location, really close to termini but still quite quiet, very clean, comfortable beds (I am not a small one, but fitted fine), two bathrooms with wc and showers (I didn't have to wait in queue not a single time), friendly staff. Good value for money.

Soggiorno Emanuela is not in every its parts at Via Calatafimi. Actually we staied at Dante's Square, maybe better than Via Calatafimi, but if you book for a place, to change is irritating.

By far the best hostel I've ever stayed. Surely it's more than just an hostel: even in a four bed dormitory the standards are those of a starred hotel. Thorough and daily cleanings of all areas, upmost friendliness, availability and professionality of staff and owner; it's a pity there aren't any more places like this in Rome...

Very near to the TREMINI- within 10 mins.

There are many restaurants in a walking distance, Chinese restaurant is just the next door.

The room was very clean, large, and the bed is comfortable. there is a sink and small TV. in the room but I did not find WIFI signal in the room.

One thing I have to mention is you have to give a correct arrival time because the staff lives next door so she will be worry if you did not come up at the given time.

toilet and shower rooms were very clean.

Good value for money, nice staff and relatively good location near the Termini. Didn't spend much time there awake so can't rate fun factor or atmosphere. Only cash payments :(

I stayed in Soggiorno Emanuela with my friend for 4 nights.We were really happy in here.Because the room and bathroom were always clean.The location of it was really great ( it was so close from Termini).We could go where we want by walking:)It looked like a house and different people could stay in all of its rooms.Finally if you think to stay here,you shouldnt be worry about place;)

The accomodation was good, not exactly the one i expected, as i was placed in another location than the original one reserved - Plazza Dante, but the services were great, very clean and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The room is clean and the owner is very friendly. Rooms and Bathrooms are clean everyday. Nice location, only 5-7 mins walk from the Termini.

nice manager, calm atmosphere (only 5 rooms and 2 wc), lots of transport and facilities nearby. I do recommend this place

Super clean, super comfortable (important, ´cause you`ll come each night dead tired) and the landlady is most helpful. Less than 5 minutes from the most important bus/train station of Rome. Best hostel I´ve found in Paris, Berlin or Amsterdam. Even better (and cheaper) if you come in groups. Til next time, Emmanuella !!!

Clean simple pensione. No frills but very good value for the money.

well situated and comfortable, without breakfast, but there is a quite cheap supermarket next to...

We were 3 Slovak for 5 days in Soggiorno Emanuela. The flat was very clean, the houselady made our beds every day and washed the floor every day. She also washed both the bathrooms. The room was simply furnished, but the sink in the room was great advantage. Our kettle doesn´t work because of the different plug but the lady brought a boiled water without any problems. The location was really great - only 5 minutes on foot to the Terminy but in the quiet street with the window into the yard.

I recommened this accommodation to everyone who is not very demanding

The host-mother of this guest house was very kind and nice.

I really liked Emanuela hostel- that is a perfect place to stay while visiting Rome- calm and relaxing. It used to be a private apartment some time ago made as a hostel so You feel like going "home" at some point.The owner is very polite lady and takes care well about business.

Clean and centric. Good option for budget travellers.

The guest house was very clean, as clean as a good 3 star hotel. Staff was quite friendly and helpful in providing information and giving advice and warnings on pickpockets. There was a sink in every room and made morning brushing of teeth convenient. The hotel was also conveniently located close to the Rome Termini train station and there were two supermarkets and many eateries around. There was a guest book written by guests and I enjoyed reading it.

I stayed in a triple room for 3 nights. Unfortunately, neither the TV nor the hair-dryer was working. There were only 2 bathrooms with WC shared by all guests. One of the bathrooms had a high window that opened to a balcony outside. A ladder was placed at the balcony just below the high window when I was staying there. I would be good for the staff to put the ladder elsewhere and seal the high window permanently to give females a sense of security when bathing.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay here.

A very central place to stay in Rome, and very quite! A very nice bed and showers were ok.

The door to the corridor could be better for sound cancellation, now it was not very private in the room as everything probably could be heard...

Although this was a basic, no frills 'room' we could not have asked for more. The establishment was spotless, Emanuela was helpful and friendly and made us feel completely at home and more importantly it felt completely safe... and only two minutes from the Stazione Termini. If you are looking for is a comfortable, clean, safe base for your Rome experience then you can't go wrong with this Guest house......see you next time!

Bathrooms (2) were very clean and the rooms were very quiet at night (rear courtyard so not much street noise, which was a welcome relief!) Doors/walls between rooms are fairly thin so a little noise in the mornings/nights, but other guests were generally very considerate of others. Rooms are sparse, beds comfy, sheets clean so all is good in our book!

Perfect for stop near the train station at a very reasonable price. Enamuela let me speak Italian, that was great. She did recommend a place to eat which was awful - how you can ruin Italian food like that, I don't know.
