I recommend this hotel to everybody. It's very nice, cheap and close to the city center. Me and my friend stayed in a nice double room and we let the luggage safe in the room during the day.

The host, Andrea, is very friendly and helpful, he took us from the bus station at the beginning and gave us advice about the best places in Rome. I'll definitely stay in Victoria Rooms next time when I'll go in Rome.

Andrea was a great host. The map of the city he made us with places to go was like our own personal key to the city. Train/metro station is less than a 10 minute walk. Bus stops near by if you want to take busses to attractions. Close to the Collosseum to walk. Overall I recommend this place and would come back here next time I'm in Rome.

I with my girlfriend stayed in Victoria rooms for 4 days. Andrea from Victoria rooms helped us in every aspect: he described where we can find all crucial infrastructure, helped us with luggage store and also came to us really quickly when we forgot our keys in the room at night! The room itself is really great - comfortable beds, new furniture and huge bathroom. I recommend Victoria rooms to everyone who is going to stay in Rome for some days.

Basic accomodation, in a perfect location for starting your exploration of rome.

Owner is very friendly and the rooms are clean.

Do not expect to find a lot of luxury, but this is great value for your money

Andrea is one of the friendliest host I've met during my trip in Europe. He even allowed me to extend my stay for another night with a good price. The cleanliness is good, the place is well taken care of. Nothing bad to say about. Highly recommended! You get what you pay for!

The manager has complained about the low price I reserved: it's not first time in Italy that someone complains about this. There is not yet the way of thinking that a transparent way to book and cheap prices are a good presentation for cheap stays. I know for sure that many of this places, if a person arrives without any reservation, can do prices completely out of control!

I will recommend this place for everyone who want to stay in cheap, clean room. Remember to contact with hostel before you arrive to define your hour of arrival (very important if you dont want to stand and wait).

Good place, one little minus: there is no brekfast in this B&B:(
The owner's reply
Dear Alekandra I'm glad that you liked the place. Regarding the breakfast, when you booked you read that breakfast is not included. Anyway, I hope to feel like you are welcome back in my structure in Rome, good luck!

Very nice place to stay for few nights if you want to do some sightseeing! Great location!Clean rooms, shared bathrooms. No kitchen,so perhaps it's not a perfect place for families with children(but you always can get some cheap coffe/breakfast in the nearest bar). Very friendly and helpfull staff!Andrea will tell you about most interesting places to see in Rome and even will recomend you where to get the best icecream!:) thank you Andre!

Ideal for people who travel to explore Rome and want a bed to sleep;flat in tenement, the ground floor, consist of 4 rooms and 2 shared bathrooms;my room was rather small-just for two;furnished only beds and a small'sth.like wardrobe'.Advantages:location and greate connection with most of turistic places(most achievable by foot;if not preffered the subway stop is really close)The owner really helpful.

Good hostel. Great location (10 minutes to Colloseum on feet). Clear place. Fine rooms and clean shared bathrooms. Very friendly and helpful staff and owner (Anrea).

Unfortunately our booking hadn't been communicated to the hostel. After at least half an hour of waiting, we were met and found a place in an alternative hostel in the same building. Can't say that our not being expected was the nicest start to our holiday in Rome. The hostel we stayed in in the end was fine though.

This place is in very good location - 600m from the Coliseum. Andrea - the supervisor of this Hostel is very friendly and helpful. He advises with all questions and also shows the best placed for tourists. Victoria B&B location is very good. You can reach almost all places by walking and in few min you'll be in the center of Rome. The Team ( Staff - Andrea ) is an Italian Guy and you can count on him in all your questions ( transportation, parks, tourist places, maps and so on ), even if it relates to trip to Venice. Anyway - he is the best Supervisor that I could imagine. The Hostel is clean, there's no room servise while you stay in hostel, there's shared bathroom and it's also clean enough. I could recommend this hostel not only for the best position by reaching the citi center but also for tons more reasons. By the way - double room are very small and you can touch anything in the room with your hand or with the foot if your on the bed :) ha ha sounds great right ?:). Anyway the bed is just for short sleep and there tons af things going over the night.

Guys - go ahead and book it as this place and price comparing with other hostels worth a sin. :)

The price is tricky, because Andrea (administrator)said that he made a mistake and instead of 38 he wrote 18 euro so we had to pay extra 20 euro. Fortunately, we said that we didn't have so much money and we paid only 25 euro, but still it was more then we expected to pay.

It is not very clean hostel.

There weren't any signs to find it, we were looking for it for about 30 min walking from door to door and asking where it was.

I wouldn't recommended it. The only positive aspect was the location.

The owner's reply
Sometimes you have to trust someone.I answer, even if I do not see people deceived because all customers who stay by me I have put a vote high ... you have my e-mail address if you would like to apologise for telling me indirectly that I am a cheater. good luck girl!

No kitchen, no reception desk, no any kettle or cups, no English-speaking staff, no any sign-board - very difficult to find this place; room very poor, description on hostelclub.com was not true - there were marked many facilities (like TV, kitchen), actually not present!! but honestly location is ok and air-conditioner also.

Your decision but I will never book it again

Really pleasant place to stay for a few nights if the only thing you wish for is to have a place to sleep. Rooms are clean, without too much furniture (only beds and a cupboard), so adding some fridge or kettle would be useful.

Good points: excellent location, practically in the strict city centre, the place was silent and clean and the owner is very friendly. Surely we would consider this hostel if looking for some sleep in Rome again.

Now that I'm back and have warmed up! I must have brought the snow and cold with me from home.

Place was super-clean, very quiet, and very safe for a solo female. The room is very basic, but supermarket nearby. I stayed for six nights, other guests there for two of them, so I was able to get to know area fairly well. Due to the unusual weather, it was pretty cold in Rome altogether, and the room was no exception. I was cozy under the big comforter, but when I return to Rome, I'll come in the spring/fall. The apartment is within walking distance to Termini, and I went directly to the Colosseo after I put my bags down! Would stay again when next in Roma.

Maybe it's not what you expect from a B&B: It's basically a flat with seperately rented rooms, no reception desk. You will have breakfast at a nearby café. BUT there are lots of positive sides: You can come and go whenever you want, have late breakfast... And the coffee at the café is great. Most importantly, the new owner Paolo is really friendly and helpful. I'm sure he'll do his best to further improve the place in the future. The rooms aren't big, but they're clean. Bathrooms are ok.

Don't book this B&B on this site because they didn't get our request. There weren't any space for us so we had to stay in more expensive Svannah B&B. I don't know if they are better, but we decided that savannah isn't worth their price. The position of Victoria is perfect. You can see all Roma by foot and Termini is not far. Also there is a delicious and cheap Pizza in another street. The stuff is good. The boy of Victoria told everything we asked and found us another place to stay.

When we arrived it was difficult to find the B&B. No indiciation outside/inside the building. New owner was very helpfull and positive, so I think it will become a good cheap accomodation. Disadvantage, Problem with delivery of hot water, but that was atechnical problem and solved partly within a day. For that we only had to pay 3 nights instead of 4. (Positive) Very close to colloseum and Central station. Bed ok, but room decoration can be improved. Good airco. Breakfast outdoor around the corner, and also option to rent bikes around the corner. We had a lot of fun in Rome

Small stuffy rooms, AC doesn't work, bathrooms smell of sewage. Seems clean, but there are bed bugs. Be careful!

It was very clean and Victoria was really nice to me. The location was perfect, the two underground lines of Rome are not so far away like Termini the central rail station (5 min). I had internet, I received two towels, because I stayed 5 days there. The breakfast was included but I had to go to a cafe and there I received a cafe and a bread. I don´t know until what time you can receive your breakfast there but I was about 9:30 am and I didn´t have any problem. I definitely recommend it if you want to stay in a simple but clean and central place.

The B&B was easy to find on the street with the provided directions, but this led us to a grid of apartment bells. The B&B was not marked, but luckily our hostess showed up shortly after. The rooms were nice and clean. The flat did feel damp and cool and the bathrooms were very, very small but this served us well for our one night stop in Rome.

5 min. from station, 5 min from Colosseum. There is no reception desk but Victoria is a great person and always available by phone. Decent room and two small but clean bathrooms. Great, really great restaurant right outside the door.

Victoria B&B is well located, close to Termini train station and a few minutes walk from Vittorio Emmanuele metro station. There's no reception desk, Victoria will meet you at the place. The breakfast, coffee and pastry, you get for handwritten vouchers in a near-by café. The B&B/ appartment is not exactly charming, but simple, quiet and clean, ideal if you just need a place for a restful sleep during your Rome expediture.

This hostel is one of the best hostels that I've ever been! Victoria was really really helpful and disponible 24hours! She is really kind and nice person! The room was simple, but it had everything that I needed. Great position!(just 5min. by feet from Termini). If I ever will come in Rome again I will stay at VictoriaB&B for sure! Thanks a lot!!
