Hotel Casanova ****

All perfect, even if breakfast a little bit poor.

We enjoyed the hotel. Only a couple of niggles. No kettle in room , but hot water available downstairs. No English Chanel’s on tv but it did have internet on tv some of the time. Highly recommend this hotel

My experience of this hotel was completely incredible, and the staff were all super and went out of their way to make my stay the best ever. 100% recommend this place. Dont be fooled by other poor comments, I just think that everyone is different and have different expectations.

We had a very comfortable accommodation and the staff was very nice. We will be back soon!

Amazing hotel rooms brilliant and spotlessly clean ,breakfast awesome , staff very polite and helpful and the location is perfect and yes 2 minutes walk from San Marco

Great hotel, best location ever just few steps to St.Marco and all musseums. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room very clean and spacious. They clean your room every day and breakfast is beyound expectations. If you leave the hotel before breakfast, they give you breakfast bag to go so you have breakfast on your way to airport. Highly recommended!

One nigh stay but will come again for a longer stay. Cozy room, good size bathroom, excellent location.

The hotel's location is perfect. It is very nice. If the room wasn't in Venice the decor wouldn't work, but it fits Venice. The breakfast and breakfast staff were excellent

Nice cozy hotel

The location is the best. Close to San Marco, vaporetto and everything. The staff at reception were ok but not great. Overall a very nice stay.

The hotel is super , the location is fantastic , beautiful hotel, location brillant, I liked it from A to z and will defenitly recomand this hotel to all my friends to come and stay here .

I had room under the roof, juniorsuite.

The stairs were very steep and small, without any banister. The risk falling down was very high. Unacceptable to offer this room. Moreover the room was low, I had to bend my head permanently, also the bathroom small and very low. And that for a very high price.Taht an hotrel dares to offer this room, unimaginable!

Although the location is fantastic and is surprisingly quiet for being right near St.Marks square, I was displeased with the staff. Once employee in particular seemed annoyed with even having to speak to us and was very obviously speaking about me in Italian to another worker, she constantly glared over while I stood at the front desk to check in. All but one young gentleman (who was very pleasant and always greeted us) were extremely unfriendly.

Some rooms pretty run down, would need some fixing.

Shower door did not work

Safe box was loose in the wardrobe

Big stains all over the floor

We love this place and are coming since many years, but now we feel it needs some renovation to be done, before we would come back

The accommodation at this hotel was very pleasent,friendly and helpful staff,big nice room and very clean, very close to San Marco square (1 min) and other attractions and also close to vaporetto station.

For the price and the standard you expect a bit more than a plastic glass of water.

Left over of previous guests in the room.

Empty bar , zero amenities.

Two rooms - one on the fifth floor was hot, even with max ac. Beds were marginally comfortable. Great location and friendly staff. Breakfast was good.

Great location; bathroom plumbing could be more efficient (sink and shower); breakfast not good. Basic requirement in Italy should be to have a decent cup of coffee in the morning in a hotel for this price.

The location is excellent but the front desk was the rudest I have ever encountered. I am a travel agent and recommend many hotels. I booked 7 rooms for my group and was surprised at the rudeness and lack of care given to my clients
