Bali is not made just of balineses massages, frangipans and wonderful beaches where get lost and practice snorkel and surf, but so much more. Bali is a city visited by a million of tourists in a year, maybe because its atsmosphere of mysticism that envolves it, of the yoga, of the amazing temples sprade all over the city and surroundings, of the love for vegetarian and vegan meal...

Things to do in Bali are really a lot, but these that we're going to show you are the ones that you can't actually miss.

1. TASTE KOPI LOWAK


The Kopi Lowak is a famous kind of coffee, particular for the fact that its grains are collected from the owl feces of the common palm trees, an animal similar to a ferret.

The grains are collected and toasted, don't worry, the feces are not in contact with the grains, just the external shell.

2. VISIT ABUD


If you go to Bali you have to visit Ubud, this is surely one of the 5 things to do here. Ubud is the perfect destination if you're looking for carve some time for yourself, between the temples and the yoga lessons.

Ubud is very small, you can quietly tour it walking, nearby there is too the famous Monkey Forest.

3. GET IN A HOLY TEMPLE


Bali is rich on temples, you will find one of them at each corner, don't want to visit one? Come in, respect the culture and the rites that will see eventually, but let yourself go through the local beliefs.

4. SPEND THE AFTERNOON IN A BALINES SPA


Bali is synonym of relax, no one is hurry, everyone live with extrem calm, and try one of those balineses massages isn't something that you want to lose, right? Ah, don't expect a particular relaxing one, but absolutly pleasant!

5. TASTE THE TYPICAL DISHES


Bali has a cuisine that looks like the vegan and vegetarian ones, but however there are meat and fish dishes too, to absolutely taste is the Nasi Campur, literally fried rice, with vegetables, meat, prawns and lots of spices.

 

WHERE TO SLEEP IN BALI

So many accommodations in Bali, some of them really cheap, here you can find even a hostel for €1.92 per person per night.

Between all of them, we quote the Bali Golden Elephant Hostel, because it can be a hostel, but looks like an actual resort!
